In January 2018 the chairman of Scientific expert panel issued the a KEM half year progress report 2017 with an accompanying letter for the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The letter included a few suggestions and questions raised by the scientific expert panel. In June 2018, the reply of the Ministry of Economic Affairs on the first half yearly report was received. Most suggestions as indicated in the answering letter are being been followed up by the Ministry.
