The KEM scientific subpanel on the public SHRA Groningen advises EZK and SodM since 2021 on the developments and status of the public hazard and risk assessemnt instrument (SHRA) of of TNO. The latest KEM-subpanel advise on the pSHRA Groningen of TNO. was issued in February 2025.

The members have been selected and nominated based on scientific excellence and networks in their field and not being affiliated with or working for mining companies.

Current scientific expert panel members are:

  • Prof. Iunio Iervolino (University of Naples, Italy),

  • Prof. Fabrice Cotton (University of Potsdam, Germany),

  • Prof. Femke Vossepoel (University of Deflt, Netherlands),

  • Prof. Pierre-Yves Bard (University of Grenoble, France).
