KEM Dashboard and research questions

KEM uses a dashboard to prioritize research areas and monitor KEM's efforts. Each research area relates to a specific type of impact of a specific mining activity. Each new KEM research question may contribute to one or more research areas.

KEM uses the priority dashboard to identify, categorize, and evaluate new research questions and to assess the extent to which they address the prioritized research areas. The KEM-panel decides whether new research questions may or may not become KEM projects. The number of KEM research question indicates KEM's future effort and impact to a research area.
